the difference

The only difference that I see is you are exactly the same as you used to be.

I remember hearing this basic idea presented by a gay man on a podcast once. And as a straight man, though I can't say for certain that it's true, I at least thought the theory made sense. Men want to have sex all the time; ask any woman on a dating site. And while women also want to have sex quite often, they are more restrained in how they prioritize it. So what happens when you take male sexual desire and remove female restraint?

I'm not saying that gay men are sex-crazed sluts, getting laid constantly at the expense of living a functional life. It should be obvious that that is not the case. But I bet gay men in the right state of mind have an easier time than straight men obtaining casual sex when they want it.
